COMMON DISEASES OF NAILS

 

Fingernails and toenails are important parts of the body, helping to protect the fingertips and toes from external influences.   • Trim fingernails and toenails neatly: Do not cut nails too short to avoid damaging nails.

  • Use gloves when doing housework or coming into contact with chemicals.

  • Don't smoke, limit drinking alcohol.
